I so wish I could fly like bird, so that I could travel to distant lands and explore new places. How I wish I had wings! When I was a child, I used to pray earnestly to God asking him to gift me two big wings. Mamma had told me that when we pray earnestly, God does listen to our prayers and grants us our wishes. I would then keep checking my back every now and then whether my wings had grown or not. How sad I had become when even after a week, I had got no wings. I stopped praying, I was angry on God. Hehe, those were the days of childish innocence. We used to believe whatever we would hear. But then, mamma explained to me how it was impossible for God to give me wings because that would be unfair to others. However I can surely fly in the air if I wished to, in my dreams. And so I would dream about me flying like a bird.
